
Raising a child who knows the value of money takes a lot patience. As your child still relies on your for spending money, he may take its importance for granted. Telling him that you will not always provide for him is a good way to remind him to pay more attention to what and how he buys things, but if you say it too often, he may think that you're just nagging him.
