Are you having trouble communicating with your children's yaya? Do you have something to say but can't seem to find the words? Well, you're not the only one. A lot of moms have the exact problem. According to Dinah Palmera M. Pacquing-Nadera, MD, psychiatrist and assistant professor from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of the Philippines Open University, this is quite normal. "It’s not actually being afraid to correct the yaya. It’s more of being careful not to hurt the yaya’s feelings. I guess this is fairly common, even among fathers who ask the mothers to talk to the yaya instead."
Talking to your kids' carer is nothing to be afraid of. To help you communicate better with your children's yaya, here are a few helpful tips:
