5 Things You Need to Know about Perks for Senior Citizens

Help lolo and lola get the most out of their senior citizen cards. By Bubbles Salvador

seniorSenior citizens need to be aware of the benefits that are available to them. Republic Act No. 9994 or the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010 is a law that grants special privileges to senior citizens. Lolo and lola can also read the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs Purchase Booklet to know more about the law. Certain provisions may vary from city to city, which is why you have to go to your local Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) for more details. Below are some of the basic things you need to learn so that lolo and lola can maximize their senior citizen benefits.
