Although kids learn at different levels, they may not always be up to where they should be. While not all children need assistance, some parents have opted to hire tutors to give their kids that extra boost they need to keep up with their classes--or get ahead of them.

    When will I know if my child is ready to take on his school academics without his tutor's help? What if he becomes overly dependent on the tutor instead?
