Andi Eigenmann couldn’t help but become emotional during her daughter Ellie’s first birthday party and Christian dedication held on November 25 at the Blue Leaf Events Pavilion in Taguig. According to an article on PEP.ph, the actress, who made sure to pull all the stops for her child, was seen crying happy tears during the celebration.

“I’ve always took this parenthood thing so lightly, ngayon lang siyempre talaga nag-sink in sa akin, now she’s dedicated to the Lord (I’ve always took this parenthood thing so lightly, and it only really just sank in, now that she’s dedicated to the Lord),” she was quoted as saying in an interview aired on the TV5 show Ang Latest:Uplate. “I actually have an Ellie, you know, that I’m gonna raise and take care of and for the rest of my life. She’s going be there so hindi mapigilan [ang umiyak], 'di 'ba (She’s going to be there so I couldn’t help but cry, right?)?”

Andi also hopes that her child will inherit some of her traits, especially her strength and perseverance. “'Yung mga tao, lagi nilang sinasabi nga na I’m strong, sana mamana ni Ellie 'yun (People have always said that I’m strong, and I hope Ellie will inherit that),” she said. “She’ll never look down on herself, she’s not gonna be a quitter.”

“I love you so much, as you can see I did all this for you,” Andi said in a message to Ellie. “This is for her memories, you know, when she’s older and she looks back on this, makikita niya kung paano ang dami taong nagmamahal sa kanya from the very, very beginning (This is for her memories, you know, when she’s older and she looks back on this, she’ll see how so many people have loved her from the very, very beginning.).”

Albie Casiño, who is rumored to be Ellie's father, did not attend the party.
