* We get a glimpse of Rizal's Noli and Fili set in the 20th century with the Philippine Educational Theater Association's (PETA) Noli at Fili Dekada 2000 (Dos Mil). Set in a small town in the Quezon province dominated by small town politics and social mores, the play imagines the backdrop of Rizal's novels in the 20th century. * Tanghalang Ateneo stages Shakespeare's Othello: Ang Moro ng Venecia, penned in Filipino by Rogelio Sicat and Luna Sicat-Cleto.
