theaterside.jpgPeople always say it's best to start acting at an early age, but what if you've discovered your potential only now? Thankfully, not everyone puts down people who still aspire for an acting career later in life.

One of Repertory Philippines' summer programs offer the Adult Beginners Acting workshop for adults ages 18 years old and above, even for those who have no previous acting or workshop experience. Under the direction of Rep veteran Robbie Guevara, the class will be taught Basic Acting, with exercises for voice, body language, and creativity.

The Adult Beginners Class starts on April 8 to May 31, 2008, Monday to Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. To see more of Rep's other classes, just read more.

Summer camp, April 8 to May 31, 2008: these classes are open to children five to 17 years old. These classes will be divided into three groups: the Kiddies class, for for kids ages five to eight; the Pre-teens class, for children ages nine to 12; and the Teens class for 13 to 17.

Advanced Acting, April 8 to May 31: This class is for advanced students of past workshops who are seriously considering a career in theater. Students will be taught by Rep veteran Ana Abad Santos-Bitong, who recently made her directorial debut in Rep's production of Hamlet.

Voice: For aspiring musical theater artists, Rep offers this class focused on basic vocal technique and the art of singing. Students will be taught by Jay Valencia Glorioso, a regular performer of Rep and the founding director of Fundacion Centro Flamenco.
