Gwyneth Paltrow's cooking career takes off

Oct 2, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

gwyneth_diet.jpgHere's one more reason to admire Gwyneth Paltrow, who revealed that she could never give up food in Oprah: she now has a travel food show with Mario Batali called Spain...On the Road Again, which finally kicked off last week! What's more, she’s already signed up for a second one that will take place in Italy!

Just the thought of traveling to a country to sample their native food is delectable enough, and we can't help but envy Gwyneth for this experience! It would be fun, though, to watch her go through it all. If you're worried about not having it on cable, don't fret. The official website features exclusive clips and even recipes featured in the episodes, so you can also get a taste of the Spanish food that Gwyneth and Mario have sampled.

With all the glitz and glamour that surround her, Gwyneth told People that she is actually most at home in the kitchen, where she cooks all meals for her family. While she probably won't have any trouble hiring anyone to cook for her, she prefers to do things on her own and even shuns the idea of personal chefs.

To see how Gwyneth and Mario eat their way through Spain, click the video below and get a glimpse of Gwyneth getting her cooking groove on!
