Giveaway ideas

Jun 19, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

weddinggiveaways.jpgGiveaways may seem insignificant in the flurry of priorities you have for your wedding, but it's also important to think about them carefully, since this will be the tangible object that will remind your guests of your special day. The best option, of course, is to go as personal as you can get. Luckily for us, there are many options for personalized objects--from music to chocolates, from plants to a simple kitchen decoration. Check out our ideas for wedding giveaways and see which one might suit you best!

  1. Functional items. Instead of little figurines, opt for functional items like personalized coasters, mugs, jars, boxes, keychains, fans, photo frames, bells, potpourri, and more, so that guests won't have to throw them away too quickly.
  2. Prayers and verses from Papemelroti . After all these years, Papemelroti is still one of the best gift shops around because of their thoughtful designs and creative products. You can go green and spiritual at the same time if you happen to like their prayers and verses giveaways, all made with recycled paper.
  3. Personalized chocolates. One of the unforgettable products we featured in ShopCrazy was ChocoPix --personalized chocolates where you can print anything on the smooth surface of chocolate lollipops, buttons, coins, and more! It's edible, and your guests can choose not to eat it for a long time. The packaging and type of chocolate allow for a longer shelf life, as long as you don't put them in refrigerators.
  4. Go green, literally. You can also give away small potted plants like herbs, flowers, and bonsai--they're beautiful and useful at the same time. How's that for being environment friendly?
