Tired of the usual trip to the beach? Drive to Laiya Coco Grove, where families have fun, kids’ fantasies are fulfilled, and mom and dad get some much deserved rest and relaxation.

Its main attraction is the row of tree houses that line the shores of Sigayan Bay. A giant tree trunk greets you as you enter, and the bamboo slatted floors creak with rustic charm as you make yourselves at home. Or you can get them jumping on the giant trampoline.

After all that fun, enjoy dinner at the resort’s pavilion, which was built to accommodate the coconuts in the area so that tree trunks are spread. There’s also a complex of bamboo poles that connect the coconut trees just outside the dining area. Fondly referred to as the Laiya Skyway, this is where Coco Grove’s own tuba is made.
