Zanjoe Marudo Says He's Not Threatened by Bea-John Lloyd Reunion

The actor says he completely trusts his girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, who is currently abroad filming a teleserye with John Lloyd Cruz.

Actor Zanjoe Marudo said he didn't feel threatened now that his girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, is abroad with actor John Lloyd Cruz. Bea and John Lloyd are shooting for their comeback teleserye, A Beautiful Affair, ABS-CBNNews.com reports.

"Actually, kung kilala mo ang tao, kung nagtitiwala ka sa tao kahit pa sino pa 'yang kasama niya, kahit pa anong pilit niyan o gawin niya eh wala naman (talagang mangyayari) (Actually, if you know someone and you trust them, no matter who they're with, no matter how much the other person tries to tempt them, nothing will happen)," he is quoted as saying.

He added that he trusts his girlfriend completely. "Two-way 'yan eh. Kung gusto ng dalawang tao doon lang may mangyayari. So dapat may tiwala ka sa tao, at ina-assure naman ako ni (Bea). (It's a two-way street. If both people want it, that's when something will happen. So you have to have faith in your partner, and Bea also assures me.)"

According to ABS-CBNNews.com, while Bea and John Lloyd have both mentioned they love each other in previous interviews, they said this love was only platonic.

John Lloyd recently split up with girlfriend Shaina Magdayao. His name was also involved in the Derek Ramsay-Angelica Panganiban breakup; he shot a movie with Angelica in Vietnam. However, Derek himself assured the public that no third party caused their breakup.
