Valentine’s Day may have come and gone, but people still can’t stop talking about the yacht ride Xian Lim gave Kim Chiu for the occasion. When PEP.ph asked Xian about his grand gesture, the actor said that he just wants the make his Ina, Kapatid, Anak co-star feel special.
“Well, nasa point ako na ipinapakita ko sa kanya na there’s always someone who treats her very special,” he had said. “There’s always someone who’s gonna be there for her... na narito para suportahan siya. And I’m sure na ganoon din siya—'yung susuportahan din niya ako (Well, I’m at the point where I’m showing her that there’s always someone who treats her very special. There’s always someone who’s going to be there for her… who will always be here to support here. And I’m sure she’s that way too—that she will support me too.).”
“We’re taking each day one at a time,” he continued. “Basta, I’m here to make her feel na she’s someone special... that someone really cares for her.”
Xian also declined to comment on Kim’s alleged row with Maja Salvador, an issue that broke out last January because of Maja’s rumored romance with Gerald Anderson, who is Kim’s ex-boyfriend.
“We don’t really talk about it,” he said. “Kasi hindi ako kasali kaya I’m not in a position to say anything. Kaya nga sabi ko sa iyo, na I don’t read much kasi ayaw ko talagang ma-involve (I’m not involved, that’s why I’m not in a position to say anything. That’s why I told you that I don’t read much into it because I really don’t want to be involved.).”
“But I think they will always be friends,” he added.
