Vic Sotto Says He and Pauleen Luna Are Not Hiding Their Relationship

The Eat Bulaga co-hosts reveal that they prefer to keep quiet about their personal lives.

Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna were spotted walking the red carpet together at a movie premiere on November 27, prompting people to speculate about the current state of their relationship. Though the two seem to be keeping a low profile, the Eat Bulaga stars had insisted that they are not hiding their romance.

“Wala naman kaming itinatago, 'e. Just don't talk about it, kasi para tahimik (We’re not hiding anything. We just don’t talk about it so things will stay quiet),” Vic was quoted as saying in an interview on PEP.ph. “Nothing really to talk about. No biggie, 'ika nga. Kung ano kami, 'yun na 'yun (No biggie, as they say. What you see is what you get!)!” he added, saying that he would rather keep things quiet to avoid making their relationship a full-blown issue.

Vic’s daughter, Danica Sotto-Pingris, also said that she and her sibling, Oyo Boy Sotto, will support their father as long as he’s happy. PEP then asked Vic if he’s currently happy with his life, to which he replied, “Oo, siyempre (Yes, of course!)!” When he was asked if he came with the person who makes him happy, he answered, “Sabi mo, e! Sabi mo, e! Gusto mo 'yan, e (That’s what you said! If that’s what you want!)!”

Pauleen had also confirmed what Vic said in an earlier interview, saying that lying low makes things better. “Mas tahimik kasi, mas masaya (The more quiet it is, the better),” she said.
