The Marian Rivera-Dingdong Dantes tandem is back with tonight's pilot episode of Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel!
Last Friday, GMA also aired the Dyesebel primer, which featured behind the scenes footages and interviews with the cast and production staff. As expected, most of the cast, especially those who play mermaids and mermen like Marian, Alfred Vargas, and Paolo Ballesteros had to learn how to swim for their parts, and copy the mermaid-style of swimming. And they've gotten so good at it! Marian, in particular, looks amazing swimming in that Dyesebel costume. Trivia: Each tail for the mermaids and mermen costs about P100,000!
Are you tuning into GMA's newest primetime soap? The past Dyesebel films are unforgettable--my favorite was the 1990 film starring Alice Dixson and Richard Gomez in particular--but this one looks interesting, too. We just hope we don't get a forced ending like the one we got for Marimar. No more crocodiles popping out of nowhere, please!
