Clothing brand
Penshoppe formally launched its Summer 2011 campaign with advertisements featuring three of their signature endorsers: model-turned-actress
Solenn Heussaff, Brapanese model-slash-actor
Akihiro Sato, and model
Bea Soriano. Rounding off the quartet is a new addition to the Penshoppe family, model
Ygor Pignatari. The shoot was held at
Misibis Bay Resort in Cagraray Island, Albay, where the four models sported clothing from Penshoppe’s summer collection—maxidresses, trousers, blazers, and more—against a scenic backdrop of sea and sand.
At the Penshoppe meet-and-greet session with Akihiro and Bea, the two endorsers talked about their personal tastes in fashion. For his part, Brapanese hunk Akihiro shared that he wears whatever he wants, although he tends to lean toward crisp
white polo shirts. As for clothing colors, “I like
white, green, and blue,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bea, a certified stylista, looks at fashion as more than something to make a person look good. “I like fashion that’s
functional,” she said. One of her style icons is
Alexa Chung, model and contributing editor for
Vogue UK. This summer, Bea shares,
maxidresses will be one of her wardrobe staples.
