Constant date. The first witness who reported the midnight date of John Lloyd Cruz and Cristine Reyes somewhere in Katipunan came out again to “correct” Cristine’s statement that what she and John Lloyd had was just a coincidental meeting.
Sent to a lot of members of the press, the witness’ statement stressed that the meeting was not coincidental because they reportedly arrived together at around 12:30AM and left together after 2AM.
More witnesses supported the first eyewitness account, since, as it turned out, it wasn’t even the first time the two were seen together. The bar’s owner is reportedly John Lloyd’s personal friend to boot.
Further clarification: the first report stated that there were not so many people during the time they were spotted, which Cristine contested, saying the bar in question is near a school so a lot of students go there. However, the first witness stood by its statement, pointing out that since the two were seen at midnight, there really weren’t that many students around.
