Sharon Cuneta has been receiving criticism on social media after describing daughter KC Concepcion’s French suitor, photographer and filmmaker Pierre Emmanuel Plassart, as “lalaking-lalaki (very manly),” ABS-CBNNews.com reports.
“Ano ba ang masama at kinagalit mo? Masama ba magsabi na ang manliligaw ng anak mo ay lalaking-lalaki? Guilty (What are you so mad about? Is it bad to say that your child’s suitor is very manly? Are you guilty?)?” she asked one of her bashers who accused her and KC of not moving on after KC's breakup.
According to a separate article from ABS-CBNNEws.com, KC also came to her mom's defense, saying that Sharon had the right to get mad as she knows what exactly happened between her and Piolo.
“My mom KNOWS EVERYTHING that happened to me last year. THE BASHERS DON'T. So they cannot blame my mother for being pissed.” The X-Factor Philippines host tweeted.
“I may be happier now, but so much has been done,” she continued. “It hurts to see them getting away w/it. It will always hurt. I can forgive, but not forget.”
This is not the first time that the Megastar had to ward off online bullies, as she was also targeted earlier this year by some Filipino Twitter users, whom she suspects are fans of Piolo Pascual, for defending KC after her break-up with the actor last year.
