Actress-model Sam Pinto was named FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World for the first time in 2011--just one year after her first FHM cover--and now she continues her reign after snagging the crown again this year, PEP.ph reports.
Sam personally thanked her supporters in a message on her official Facebook page. "Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone of you who voted for me," she posted. "This is all because of you! Thank you for the effort of voting, money spent on voting and of course all the love and support! I feel it! I feel it! Haha! You guys are awesome, wonderful, beautiful people! This is the start of something exciting! Thank you again! Love you all!"
Back in May, Toda Max actress Angel Locsin led FHM's partial and unofficial results for two weeks, but Sam pulled ahead near the end of the voting process.
Over 17 million votes were recorded for this year's poll, with votes coming in from the magazine's website, FHM.com.ph, as well as text and print ballots. The battle between Angel and Sam was close, but Sam won with 1,249,189 votes against Angel's 1,131,505.
