After reports surfaced that Angelica Panganiban and John Lloyd Cruz are seeing each other, there are now rumors about their respective exes being linked to each other.
According to an article by ABS-CBNNews.com, Angelica’s ex, Derek Ramsay, is reportedly seeing Ruffa Gutierrez, who was once in a relationship with John Lloyd back in 2009.
However, Ruffa had denied that she and Derek are dating.
"Hindi totoo 'yun. Friends lang kami (That's not true. We're just friends.)," the beauty queen-turned-actress was quoted as saying in an interview on the August 17 episode of the morning talk show KrisTV.
"So doon sa mga sumusulat na nili-link ako kung kani-kanino [we're not a couple]. Kasi when I was away, I'd been hearing all these things that I'd been linked to Derek. Pero it's not true at all. We only saw each other once in London and 20 pa kami so wala kaming affair or anything, as in hindi naman kami masyadong close (To those responsible for linking me with whomever, we’re not a couple. Because when I was away, I’d been hearing all these things that I’d been linked to Derek. But it’s not true at all. We only saw each other once in London and we were 20 [in the group] so we didn’t have an affair or anything, as in we weren’t that close.)."
According to Ruffa, she has been single for about a year, and she is focusing on being a doting mom to Lorin and Venice, her two daughters by ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas.
