Regine Velasquez Shares How She Deals With Jealousy

Asia's Songbird says that she would rather talk to her husband about her feelings than start a fight about it.

Although Regine Velasquez admits that  a lot of women have expressed their interest in her husband, Ogie Alcasid, she insists that she does not get jealous of her husband’s admirers.

Hindi ako basta-basta naaapektuhan,” she was quoted by PEP.ph as saying during a press conference for her upcoming concert. I don’t know if he's just not saying that he gets jealous, but as for me, I don’t. I don’t get affected easily. I won’t get jealous if he won’t give me a reason to be jealous.).”

Regine, who says that she only got jealous of Ogie twice in the nine years that they have been a couple, also told the reporters present that she prefers to talk to her husband about her suspicions instead of making a big fuss about it.“Kung magselos man ako, sasabihin ko sa kanya, hindi ko gagawing dahilan 'yun para maging away,” she said. If I do get jealous, I would tell him. I won’t use it as an excuse to start a fight. Because I feel that if we fight about it, it will be more difficult for me to tell him, ‘Stop doing that,’ because I would be jealous. It would be better to talk to him properly than to fight him about it.).”

Malandi rin 'yun, e,” she says about her husband. Lahat ng lalaki, e, malandi, mind you. He’ll remember (He’s also a flirt. But he’s not aware that he’s doing it. All men are flirts, mind you. It’s part of their charm. He’s also a flirt, so when I tell him, ‘I don’t like it when…’ he’ll stop. He’ll remember.).”
