Rayver Cruz Happy Public Finally Accepts Relationship with Cristine Reyes

Rayver is grateful for the people who support their relationship--whether it's the one they have on- or offscreen.

Despite the controversies actor Rayver Cruz and actress Cristine Reyes were involved in the past year, their relationship is still going strong. In fact, Rayver tells PEP.ph, he and Cristine will be celebrating their first-year anniversary as a couple on September 14.

The best part? Rayver can now say that the public accepts his relationship with Cristine both onscreen and in real life. Rayver and Cristine currently star as Henry and Agnes, the protagonists of the afternoon soap Reputasyon on ABS-CBN. And after hearing positive feedback from viewers, Rayver says he feels relieved.

"Nakakatuwa kasi alam naman namin, eventually matatanggap kami ng tao, magiging masaya na sila para sa aming dalawa (It's heartening because we knew the public will accept us and be happy for us eventually)," he is quoted as saying. "Hindi lang sa personal kundi pati sa Reputasyon, tanggap na nila and marami nga raw ang kinikilig sa amin bilang Henry and Agnes. (And I don't just mean our personal relationship, but the one we have on Reputasyon. They accept us, and a lot of them can relate to us as Henry and Agnes.)"
