In April, we asked you to vote for the actress you thought made the best kontrabida out of a list of 25 memorable villainesses. After a month of voting, the results are in! Congratulations to actress Eula Valdez for claiming the title of Best Kontrabida with 1,135 (54.41 percent) of the 2,086 votes cast.
Eula rose to stardom after playing the role of bida-kontrabida Amor Powers in the teleserye Pangako Sa'yo in 2002. In the soap, she went from kind pushover to strong businesswoman, and viewers loved the tension between her and fellow kontrabida Jean Garcia (Claudia Buenavista in the show).
In 2011, Eula flexed her kontrabida muscles anew as she gave life to the evil Selina in the remake of the teleserye Mula sa Puso. Viewers loved to hate her, and we understood exactly why! She might be playing a good girl in Mundo Man ay Magunaw now, but we can't wait for her next kontrabida role.
