Piolo Pascual says he is glad that his ex-girlfriend, actress-host KC Concepcion, has seemed to move on from their break-up last year.
“I always wish her well. Wala namang problema sa akin (I don’t have a problem with that),” Piolo was quoted as saying in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com. “We pray for happiness and peace. Kung masaya siya, masaya din ako (If she’s happy, I’m also happy.).”
The matinee idol also said that his love life is currently on hiatus, but not because he was traumatized from his last relationship. He shared he’s waiting for his son, Iñigo, to turn 18 before he brings another woman into their life.
“Hindi na muna, saka na 'yon. I promised my son (Iñigo) kapag 18 na siya (Not yet, maybe later. I promised my son that I’ll wait until he turns 18.). Three more years to go,” he said.
Piolo had added that he hopes his next girlfriend will not be a public personality. “Ayaw ko sana, ayaw ko sana. Masaya na ako sa ngayon with whatever I have pero when the time comes gusto ko sana hindi (taga) showbiz (I really don’t want that anymore... I’m happy right now with whatever I have but if the time comes, I would prefer her not be from showbiz.).”
