Longtime singer-actor Ogie Alcasid fully supports his wife Regine Velasquez’s plans to lose some post-pregnancy pounds. He revealed that he signed her up for a gym membership and even offered to accompany her, so they would be able to work out together.
"Sabi ko, ‘O, na-enroll na kita, ha? Sasamahan kita bukas.’ Sasagot siya, ‘Okay…’ (I told her I already enrolled her in a gym, and I'll accompany her the following day. She would reply, 'Okay...')" he shares with Pep.ph.
"Siyempre support ako," he adds. "Well, nag-South Beach muna siya, siguro mga two months. Tapos ngayon, gusto na niyang mag-work out (Of course I support her. Well, she tried the South Beach diet first for about two months. Now, she wants to work out.)."
We all know that shedding off baby weight isn't easy, and Asia's Songbord has admitted this herself, saying that she has been focusing on being a full-time mom to Baby Nate for the past few months. "I will work hard first to lose all the weight that I’ve gained during my pregnancy. Tapos, hopefully, mabilis lang. Siyempre, I have to take time kasi I carried the baby for nine months. Hindi naman gano’n kadali iyon (It's not that easy),” she was quoted as saying in a previous interview with Pep.ph.
