Two of the local movies this month are office-based: A Very Special Love, where Sarah Geronimo plays editorial assistant to magazine publisher John Lloyd Cruz; and Loving You, starring rumored real-life couple Polo Ravales and Jean Garcia.
In A Very Special Love, Laida (Sarah) struggles to keep up with the demands of Miggy (John Lloyd), the publisher of the magazine Bachelor, which she works for. They eventually fall for each other as they work together. This is the first time that the two actors are working with each other, and Sarah and John Lloyd are both anticipating their fans' positive feedback.
"I'm very proud of this movie; si Sarah, ang galing galing niya," John Lloyd told PEP.
Although there's no word yet on the plot of Loving You, PEP has said that it'll be set in a call center agency. As for their so-called real-life working relationship, Polo told PEP, "We shared a lot of scenes together, at siyempre 'pag lagi mong ka-work, mas lalong nagiging close kayo sa isa't isa."
