Twitter Blind Item Sparks Interest on Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson

A blind item posted by entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz three days ago made waves on Twitter, as it seemed to shed more light on the real score on a budding showbiz romance.

"Gumib ap na daw si G sa panliligaw ke S, dahil sa madir ni S. True kaya ito (G has given up on courting S because of S’s mother. Is this true)?” the tweet read.

Ogie posted more details about "S" and "G" on July 24 and 25, saying that it was S's mom who didn’t want the romance to happen. "Sinabihan daw ng fadir si G na umakyat ng ligaw sa bahay. Ginawa naman daw ni G. Pero pag andun daw si G, iniirapan sya ng madir ni S," he tweeted. "Dapat daw, me duet sina S at G sa concert ni S. Pero si Mother Dear daw ang umayaw. Kagabi daw after live ay cry si S dahil finally... Nagpaalam na si G ke S na give up na siya, dahil ndi daw ma-please ni G si Mother Dear. Kaya super iyak daw si S (S's father told G to court S at home, which G did. But whenever G was there, S’s mom would glare at him. S and G were also supposed to have a duet during S's concert, but Mother Dear said no. Last night after Live, S cried because G finally told S that he's giving up since he can't please Mother Dear. S was crying really hard.)."

Ogie, however, cautioned that these were just stories relayed to him by his peers in the industry. “Ilan lang yan sa mga kwentong nai-share sa akin. Ndi ko naman sinasabing maniwala kayo dahil kahit ako, ndi makapaniwala. Awa ako sa bagets,” he tweeted. “Kung totoo man ito, sana naman, bigyan ng karapatang lumigaya ng nanay ang anak bilang regalo sa pagiging mabuting anak at kapatid nito (These are just a few of the stories that were shared to me. I’m not saying that you should believe them because I can’t believe them myself. If this is true, I hope the mother gives her child the right to find happiness as a gift for being a good daughter and sister.)."

According to an article from PEP.ph, people have concluded that G is actor Gerald Anderson and S is Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo. Gerald had admitted that he is courting Sarah and had paid her a visit at home.

As of press time, Ogie’s latest tweet about the blind item, posted yesterday evening, brings hope for S and G's reconciliation.

"True kaya na when S arrives from work abroad, me dinner sila ni G 2nyt? Aayusin yata ang kanilang sitwasyon. Sana, gift na nga ito ni Madir (Is it true that when S arrives from work abroad, she and G will have dinner tonight? They're probably going to fix their situation. I hope this is her mother's gift.)."
