Rayver Cruz Denies Rumors That He's Breaking Up with Cristine Reyes

Actor Rayver Cruz dispelled rumors that he and girlfriend Cristine Reyes have broken up, PEP.ph reports. "Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling ‘yan (I don't know where that came from)," he is quoted as saying. "Basta ang masasabi ko, straight to the point, na kami pa rin ni AA [Cristine's nickname], we’re still the same. Busy siya sa work niya, so siguro, naninibago ang mga tao na bihira na kami magkasama. (I can say, straight to the point, that AA and I are still together. We're still the same. She's busy with work, so maybe people are just surprised at seeing we have less time to spend with each other.)"

He also clarified that he had no problems with Cristine admitting she has a crush on actor Piolo Pascual, her co-star on teleserye Dahil sa Pag-ibig. "Eto lang 'yun, sinong babae ang hindi magkaka-crush kay Piolo? Ang sa akin, paghanga 'yan! Ako, may mga crushes din ako. (What woman wouldn't have a crush on Piolo? It's just admiration. I have crushes too.)"

Rayver added that he had complete trust in Cristine. "Hindi ako seloso lalo na sa work. Yung pagiging vocal niya sa paghanga kay Piolo? Bakit ko naman kailangan siyang pakialaman dun? Very open-minded ako na kahit may mga taong nagtatanong, hindi raw ba ako nagseselos? Nandun yung trust ko sa kanya, bakit ko sisirain yung inspired siyang magtrabaho? (I'm not the jealous type, especially when it comes to work. Her being vocal about her admiration for Piolo? Why would I get in the way of that? I'm very open-minded, to the point that even if people ask me whether or not I'm jealous, I just trust her. Why would I get in the way of things when she's so inspired to work?)"
