In an interview for ABS-CBNNews.com, actress Andi Eigenmann said she was willing to forgive her baby's father. The star pointed out, however, that she didn't see this happening in the near future. "Wala namang nagso-sorry sa ’kin, sinong papatawarin ko? Pero ‘yung topic sa dad, para sa ’kin I’m happy with Elle (Adrianna Gabrielle), walang kulang. (No one has apologized, so who am I going to forgive? But if the topic is about dads, I'm happy with Elle. We're not missing anything.)"
Andi made waves last year after announcing she was pregnant. In an entry on her Posterous.com blog, she named actor Albie Casiño as Elle's father. She has since removed his name from her post. Andi gave birth to baby Adriana Gabrielle in November 2011.
“Siguro pag nag-sorry siya, papatawarin ko naman siya. Wala na ‘yung sa aming dalawa (If he says sorry, I'll forgive him. There's no more issue between us),” she is quoted as saying on ABS-CBNNews.com. “I left that all in the past. I’ve moved on; I’m happy. I’m way happier now than ever before, so okay na ko. So kung mag-sorry siya, papatawarin ko, ‘yung para lang talaga kay Elle. (I'm already okay. So if he says sorry, I only need to forgive him for what he did to Elle.)”
"Nagkita na kami. Hindi niya ata ako kilala eh (We've met. It's like he doesn't know me),” she added in a joking manner. “Hindi kami masyado close, so hindi kami nagpansinan. Hindi niya ata ako kilala. (We're not close, so we ignored each other. I don't think he knows me.)”
In the meantime, Andi is focusing on her showbiz comeback, which she is dedicating to her daughter. “I’ve never had an inspiration close to this," she said. "Elle’s my life now, so everything that I do, I put her first, I always think about her. So all the more I’m motivated; I really just want to get back in shape, be beautiful again, and go back to work.”
She will be starring in a TV series with actress Iza Calzado and actor Gabby Concepcion. Her partner will be Jake Cuenca.
