After months of waiting for news on the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, we Potter fans finally got our wish: the first official movie trailer is here!

Though it's still too short for our liking, it's good to note that the trailer is actually meaty, considering that it revolves around just one event--or a "memory," to be precise--in the book. The first trailer already gives us a glimpse of an 11-year-old Tom Riddle when Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) comes to introduce him to the wizarding world. Interestingly, the role of the young Riddle is played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, who happens to play Lord Voldemort--the character that this boy will grow up to be.
