Maricar Reyes isn’t picky with brands. While she can obviously afford to splurge on top luxury items--such as the designer carryall she toted during her cover shoot for Good Housekeeping’s October 2013 issue--she still remains very practical when it comes to shopping.
“I like a good deal, so where there’s a good deal, I’ll go there,” the porcelain-skinned chinita actress told FN when we got to chat with her after her shoot. Indeed, it does seem like this star takes bargain-hunting seriously: she counts a local department store chain and “the tiangge in Taiwan” as her favorite shopping places, and you can read about her Divisoria experiences in the magazine.
But while it’s advisable to scrimp when it comes to trends, it’s still best to invest in classic pieces that, though a bit more expensive, will end up getting the most mileage out of all your clothes. Find out what Maricar’s wardrobe essentials are below.
1. WHITE TOPS
“White t-shirt, white polo. I love white.”
2. STUD EARRINGS
3. CLASSIC HEELS
“Nice beige heels, and pumps in basic colors.”
“Good jeans. In khaki and light blue.”
