First anniversaries are very special dates in a couple’s relationship, and Luis Manzano and Jennylyn Mercado definitely have special plans for their one-year mark. Luis has revealed that he and the Kapuso star will be jetting off abroad to celebrate their anniversary, ABS-CBNNews.com reports.
"Very, very soon we will be taking a trip out of the country to celebrate our first anniversary," said Luis during his guesting on the October 11 episode of KrisTV.
The actor shared that they will be heading to Dubai. "Alam niya hindi pa ako nakakapunta ng Dubai," he added. "It's a parang mini-gift din sa akin kasi anywhere in the Middle East, wala pa akong napuntahan (She knows I haven’t been to Dubai. It’s like a mini-gift for me because I haven’t been to any country in the Middle East.)."
The trip will certainly be a memorable one for Luis and Jennylyn as it will be their first time to fly out of the country by themselves. He added that they have gone to Hong Kong together before, but they were with their friends.
When asked about their secret to making their relationship work, Luis answered that it was all a matter of finding a compromise with each other’s beliefs. "Kung may isang bagay na medyo nagkaiba sa wavelength, tina-try namin kahit paano to find a compromise between a topic, between ugali namin. So, siguro we putting (sic) in effort to make it work talaga (If there’s a difference in our wavelengths, we try to find a compromise between a topic, between our attitudes. So I think we put in effort to really make it work.)."
