Lovi Poe Denies Dating Jake Cuenca

Actress Lovi Poe has admitted that she and Jake Cuenca are close friends. However, according to an article by ABS-CBNNews.com, she insists that they’re not dating.

"Now is not the time for us," was her reply when asked about the status of her relationship with Jake during a press conference for the upcoming horror film Guni-Guni.

"Jake is very close naman sa akin. Malapit talaga siya sa 'kin, [since he is] my neighbor. [But] we're not actually dating. Siya rin dalawa 'yung soap niya eh. We're really close naman, but now is not the time for us, we're both busy. And someone as passionate as him sa work, ganun din naman sa 'kin, and we want to keep it that way (Jake is very close to me. He’s really close to me since he is my neighbor. But we’re not actually dating. He has two soaps as well. We’re really close, but now is not the time for us, since we’re both busy. And he’s someone very passionate about work, as I am with mine, and we want to keep it that way.)."

When she was asked if she’s willing to enter into a relationship despiteher busy schedule, Lovi said that though the idea of going steady with someone is nice, she’s likewise worried that she would not be able to devote enough time to it.

"If given the chance, why not. It's probably nice to have something steady lang. Pero wala eh, with work, parang mahirap rin mabigyan ng time, and it's basically hard to trust a man (If given the chance, why not. It’s probably nice to have something steady. But with work, it might be hard to make time for it, and it’s basically hard to trust a man.)."

"At this point, I've been through a lot, rest muna ako sa side na 'yun (At this point, I’ve been through a lot, I’ll take a rest first from that side.)."
