Kris Aquino’s daring gown stole the spotlight from the awardees at the 28th Metro Manila Film Festival awards night held on December 27 at the Meralco Theater, which she hosted. The deep green frock, which was designed by Cebu-based fashion designer Cary Santiago, featured a deep neckline and intricate cutout details.
ABS-CBNNews.com reports that while there were individuals that applauded the actress’ fashion choice and even said that it deserved its own award, there were also others who felt that it was too revealing.
After the show, Kris then took to her Twitter account to post a fashion-related “New Year’s Resolution.” "My 2013 resolution: no more "goiter" revealing gowns. Last na po yung tonight. Balot na balot na tayo okay @JC_Buendia, Cary Santiago? (Tonight's gown will be the last. We're going to be all covered up, okay?)," she tweeted.
She also said that she wanted to have a sweeter, more demure look for 2013. "@JC_Buendia we'll miss u- but I want to be sweet, demure & covered this 2013. Rest na my cleavage, hehehe."
