After being put on the hot seat in her own talk show, KrisTV, rumors that Kris had once dated Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin "Junjun" Binay Jr. were temporarily revived.
According to an article from ABS-CBNNews.com, Kris had admitted dating the vice-president's son and was even reported to have said, "Have we dated? Yes. Pero, did it go further than that? No. So will I date again? Yes, soon."
However, Kris was quick to call it a misunderstanding and denied having dated the politician at all via Twitter. "oh my- I read na people interpreted that I confirmed having dated Mayor Jun Binay. Shucks, not him... Naku Jason hindi sya," read the tweet.
Kris adds that she was able to clear things up with the Makati mayor himself. "I got to talk to Mayor Jun Binay & we laughed about how what I said this morning was misinterpreted. Kwentuhan ko naman daw sya who the person I referred to really is... I told him, Jun at least I'm not as madaldal as every1 assumes. May capability ako to keep things quiet & private," she posted successively in herTwitter account.
The Queen of Talk's love life is quite well-known. She was famously involved in a relationship with fellow actor Philip Salvador with whom she had her first son, Joshua. In 2005, she tied the knot with basketball star James Yap with whom she had her second child Bimby, though their marriage was annuled last February.
