In an interview on the November 4 episode of The Buzz, Kim Chiu shared that she and her ex-boyfriend, Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition housemate Gerald Anderson, are now friends again. The “Kimerald” love team will be reuniting again for an upcoming movie, 24/7 In Love. This will be their first on-screen pairing since their break-up in 2010.
“Nakakatuwa nga kasi after two years, fresh start,” she was quoted as saying in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com. “Parang nawala lahat ng kung ano mang pasakit noon. After two years, nawala na ‘yung mga hinanakit namin sa isa’t isa or kung ano man ang nangyari (It’s great because we now have a fresh start after two years. It’s like all our baggage back then vanished. After two years, our ill feelings toward each other and what went on between us had disappeared.).”
“Basta ngayon sobrang gaan, sobrang masaya. Tawanan kami ng tawanan sa mga jokes na binabato namin sa isa’t isa,” Kim said. “Kapag nagkwe-kwentuhan kami, pingkwe-kwentuhan namin ‘yung mga nangyari noon. ‘Yon ‘yung mga bagay na ganoon. Tawanan lang kami ng tawanan (Right now, we’re both happy. We laugh a lot at the jokes we would toss at each other. When we get to chat, we talk about what went on before, things like that. And we just laugh about it.).”
