KC Concepcion would rather focus on her TV shows than shoot the Viva Films movie Nothing Compares to You, alongside Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay.
The actress is currently hosting the singing contest X-Factor and is set to star in the upcoming teleserye Against All Odds.
"I wanted to take things a little bit more kalmado lang this year," she was quoted as saying in an article by PEP.ph. "Gusto ko i-enjoy yung mga ginagawa ko. (I want to enjoy the things I’m doing.)”
KC also said she doesn't regret letting go of the opportunity to star in a movie with Anne and Derek, despite the latter’s successful pairing in No Other Woman, which also starred Christine Reyes.
"I’m at a point na gusto ko lang talaga mag-focus sa mga shows ko—it’s a personal choice. 'Saka I believe that pag merong door na nag-close, may isang magbubukas. Kumbaga, hindi dapat pinipilit ang isang bagay na hindi dapat. (I’m at a point where I would just like to focus on my shows—it’s a personal choice. And I believe that when one door closes, another one opens. You shouldn’t force things.)”
