KC Concepcion Opens Up about Her Love Life

The actress says that there are currently two men in her life, both of whom aren't from the showbiz industry.

KC Concepcion revealed that she was afraid to fall in love again after her messy breakup with matinee idol Piolo Pascual last year.

"There was a time na sobra talaga akong natatakot na ma-in love ulit (There was a time when I got very scared to fall in love again)," she was quoted as saying in an article by ABSCBNNews.com during an interview for Kris TV.

"Ang tagal kong mag-open up sa guys na parang lagi ko na lang friend nang friend lang, pero ‘pag medyo nararamdaman ko na na masugid [manligaw] inaaway ko talaga na ‘I’m not ready, I’m working, and it’s not the time. I don’t want to think about it.’ (It took me a long time to open up to guys, and I got to the point where I can only remain friends with them. When I feel like a guy is starting to court me, I’d fight him off and would tell him, ‘I’m not ready, I’m working, and it’s not the time. I don’t want to think about it.’)"

However, this self-imposed isolation also brought some good in KC’s life, as she revealed that there were two men who "stayed" with her. She mentions that one's a foreigner. "He’s pure-something else. But he loves the [Filipino] culture," she said. "He has never been here. Ayoko pa siyang papuntahin (I don’t want him to go here yet.).” The other man, KC said, is half-Filipino and had lived in another country for a while.

The actress also maintained that she doesn’t want to date another guy from showbiz, but admitted that she looks forward to being in love again. "So yes, I’m excited to fall in love again. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again."

Piolo has obviously recovered from this much-publicized breakup while KC is obviously still hurting, acts like a giggling high school girl every time her prospective relationships are mentioned. She now only hosts & has a supporting role in a new teleserye, no new movie as lead star. It proves that damaging someone on national TV is never good even as an act of retaliation. Hmmp, talk about karma.

GOSH!! MATHAN KIMWELL, a BITTER PIOLO ADDICT is BACK to bash KC again..KARMA BA? si PIOLO kaya ang obvious na LAOS na..ewwww!!! FLOP ang movie, ang serye hindi tumagal..hahaha..sikat ba? si tagal ni piolo sa showbiz, ngayon need pa nya isama sa mas sikat na artist para lang kumita shows nya..kaloka ka!!!

mathan, are u for real? iho, its seems u r like mr. P forever camouflaging,, if only u knew d reason why kc is so blessed for ending that --- relationship, u might nt swallow it. Sometimes, its true, we must be not be judgmental to anybody, we must refrain from giving conclusions to anybody for that matter, BUT if u can realy feel the hurt that KC experienced that time, hindi mo rin gugustuhin mangyari ito sa kamg-anak mong babae. I just hope, u have the sense to find u who's between them is having PEACEFUL night, INNER PEACE, just be sensitive to Mr. P' his eyes thy are really very, very sad, hindi umaabot ang ngiti sa kanyang mga mata.
