KC Concepcion Crowned FN's Most Inspiring Filipina

In March, we celebrated International Women's Month and asked you to vote for the local female personality who inspires you the most in our poll. After a month of voting, the results are in!

Congratulations to actress, TV host, singer, and social advocate KC Concepcion, who got 10,501 out of 19,247 votes (54.56 percent) cast. Besides going on missions in the country and all over the world as part of her duties as National Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme, KC also regularly replenishes her stock of personal items for KC's Closet Fights Hunger, her online auction site. All proceeds from the auctions benefit the cause.

This lady despite all the negative things surrounding her, still strive to be the best in all fields she is in. I deeply admired her for finishing her studies before entering Philippine showbiz. So admirable for someone who have everything but yet regard education as her priority. And with the downfall of her lovelife late last year, she managed to stand up, forgive, and go on with life with a new outlook.. Congrats, Kace! U solely deserve this title. Hats off to you!!

KUDOS for u KC!!!! She's amazing :) This girl is a truly real in person not a user, a down to earth person, I haven't seen her in person but I admire KC for what she is. She loves our country & despite of all her achievements in life, she still put her feet on the ground.. This is the kinda person that is a good role model for all the pinoy's youngsters. Hope all pinoys can see whats real & whats not, because we deserve to have a good lookout for the people & to our country. We should think who we follow & look up to because not all this beauties are real.. Think of urself, for the good of our families, the children & for our country. CONGRATS KC!

Aside from KC's initiatives to alleviate hunger here and abroad, her attribute is her outspoken expression on women's empowerment, to express the need to hear the voices of many females,rich and poor alike, that they are not subordinated to men and that they have the right to voice out what they feel when emotional exploitation sets in. For this, I admire KC.

KC Concepcion chosen as the Most inspiring woman, i super duper agree:) if you'd ask me a year ago, she wouldnt be my choice, simply because, i didnt know her at all and i wasnt that interested to get to know her until i met her and witnessed how good she is ( wont be discussing it here coz it might take a lot of space , haha:))Basta, after that day, she gained a fan in me:) i started reading blogs and articles about her, and i am so right, i never read nor encountered an article saying she is a "primadonna", spoiled little rich girl " nor being unprofessional. Mostly,in blogs ( written by non showbiz people, like us ) they shared stories discussing about how good she is when they met her and situations that made them liked her.

Yes, there are some negative write-ups ( mostly her acting skills) but hey! nobody's perfect, and she's what, 3-4 yrs pa in showbiz im sure she'll improve ( i saw that already in her latest movie) ...aside from that she can sing, dances well and i found out she composed few songs na rin..

I believe her being feisty, brave,at the same time her humility, being down to earth , no nonsense woman made her different from others... not a single doubt, she deserves to be hailed the most inspiring woman.
