Judy Ann Santos to Sarah Geronimo: "Walang perfect guy"

Actress Judy Ann Santos gave singer Sarah Geronimo sisterly advice on love during her guesting on the latter's show Sarah G Live, ABS-CBN News reports. "Sa love mare-realize mo hindi ka makakahanap ng perfect guy kasi walang perfect guy (In love, you will realize that you can't find a perfect guy because he doesn't exist)," she is quoted as saying. "Si Lord lang yata ang perfect. Ang perfect guy hindi 'yan darating pero ang right guy darating 'yan sa iyo sa tamang oras, sa tamang panahon kapag hinog na hinog na ang puso mo. (Only the Lord is perfect. The perfect guy won't come, but the right guy will at the right time, when your heart is really ready.)"

The star added that love comes with "pains and hurt", but these experiences help a person grow. "Mas magiging maganda ang kalooban mo sa pagmamahal at perception mo sa love kapag nasaktan ka na. (Your views on love will change for the better once you've gotten hurt.)"

Sarah is currently being courted by actor Gerald Anderson, and Judy Ann referred to Sarah's calling Gerald "babe" in a past episode of Sarah G Live as a sign that the latter was important to her. "Noong tinawag mo siyang 'babe' naramdaman mo na 'yun ang dapat mong itawag sa kanya. Lumalabas lang naman kasi 'yong 'babe,' kapag masaya, kapag mahal mo. (When you called him 'babe,' you felt that that was what you should call him. 'Babe' only comes out when you're happy, when you love someone.)"

"Kapag masaya ka at kumportable ka sa isang tao wala namang masama sa pagtawag ng ganoon (When you're happy and comfortable with someone, there's nothing wrong with calling him that)," she added. "Walang ibig sabihin 'yon kung hindi espesyal siya sa iyo. (That doesn't mean anything except he's special to you.)"
