John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban Seen Leaving the Star Magic Ball Together

John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban, who have been rumored to be seeing each other for the past few months, did not attend the annual Star Magic Ball, which was held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on September 1, together. According to an article by PEP.ph, John Lloyd arrived first, followed shortly by Angelica.

When Angelica was asked about what she was looking forward to that night, she simply answered, “Mag-enjoy.” The actress, who wore a black Elie Saab creation, also did not give any specific names when she was asked about whom she will bond with that night among her Star Magic friends.

However, a guest told PEP.ph that it was a different story inside the dining hall, where it became obvious that the two came as each other’s dates. According to the guest, the two were probably avoiding being seen together by the press. Both John Lloyd and Angelica were also spotted leaving the ball hand in hand.

The past year, both John Lloyd and Angelica went to the event with different dates. Angelica came with then-boyfriend Derek Ramsay, who is now with TV5, while John Lloyd arrived with former girlfriend Shaina Magdayao, who attended this year’s ball alone.

In an exclusive interview with the Sunday talk show The Buzz the following day, John Lloyd revealed that he's still waiting for a "better timing" to talk about his relationship with Angelica. "For something this special, itong sa amin ni Angel, hindi sa umiiwas ako, hindi sa ayaw kong pag-usapan. Never kong gugustuhin na maramdaman niya 'yun, na hindi ko siya prina-prioritize (For something this special, this thing between me and Angel, it’s not that I’m avoiding it, it’s not that I don’t want to talk about it. I would never want her to feel that way, that I couldn’t prioritize her)," he was quoted as saying in an article by ABS-CBNNews.com.
