Jodi Sta. Maria Says She's Not Rushing into a Relationship with Jolo Revilla

Though Jodi Sta. Maria’s marriage to Pampi Lacson is already in the process of being annulled, she says that she’s not rushing into a new relationship with Jolo Revilla, whom she is rumored to be dating. “We were not naman rushing things. Walang pressure, walang kahit na ano (We were not rushing things. There's no pressure or anything),” she was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph.

The actress is also willing to take another stab at true love despite having gone through the trauma of a failed marriage. “It’s not something that you planned. It just happened,” she said. “Minsan, may mga bagay na dumarating na you least expect it. Hindi naman porke’t galing ako sa isang failed relationship, 'e, every future na potential relationship e magpi-fail din. Kumbaga, hindi tayo dapat maging pessimistic about the future, di ba (Sometimes, things come when you least expect it. Just because I came from a failed relationship, it doesn't mean that every future potential relationship will fail, too. We shouldn't be pessimistic about the future, right?)?”

However, Iwa Moto, Pampi’s current girlfriend, says that Jodi shouldn’t blame anyone but herself for the failure of her marriage. “Ang sinabi ko, yung totoo, na three years ago my ex-husband [Mickey Ablan] and Jodi had an affair. So, kung ano man ang nangyari pagkatapos noon, sa akin na lang 'yun,” she said in a separate article.

Iwa also insists that she’s not Pampi’s mistress as it was clear that he and Jodi were already separated when they got together. “Hindi ko lang matatanggap na tawagin akong kabit. That’s one thing,” she said. “Sa kasamaang palad, hindi ako 'yung kabit. Kasi, siguro ngayon, sasabihin nila ngayon na kabit ako, kasi si Pampi and Jodi are still married. Pero klaro na hiwalay na sila noong naging kami ni Pampi. Pero ang masakit 'nun, Jodi knows na kasal kami ni Mickey nung time na 'yun. Alam niya, and they had a relationship for, like, three months (I can't accept being called a mistress. That's one thing. I'm not a mistress. Maybe they're saying that I'm the other woman now, because Pampi and Jodi are still married. But it's clear that they weren't together anymore when Pampi and I got together. When asked to respond to Iwa’s claims, Jodi refused to make a comment. “Up to this day, I will keep quiet and keep my silence,” the actress said.
