Jessica Sanchez, first runner-up in the 11th season of reality singing competition American Idol, is giving her Filipino fans a chance to bond with her through a live Skype session.
According to a report by Interaksyon.com, "The Ultimate Jessica Sanchez SKYPE Party!" will be held on July 29 from 10:00 AM onwards at SM Megamall's Event Center. Aside from interacting with the Fil-Mexican star, fans also get the chance to win exclusive items signed by Jessica Sanchez as well as meet-and-greet passes to the American Idol Live! Tour concert, which will be held on September 21 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
In another article by ABS-CBNNews.com, Jessica shared that she's excited to visit the Philippines and keen on learning Filipino words. "Maraming salamat po sa lahat," Sanchez said. "Look at me!"
The other AI finalists have also remarked that they're looking forward to meeting and performing for the Filipino crowd. "Filipino fans, thank you so much for supporting all of us," said AI winner Phillip Phillips. "We're looking forward to coming to perform to you all. We're all excited, so thank you all."
