Actress Iza Calzado continues to widen her horizons in showbiz as she's set to start hosting a new show for GMA-7 called Showbiz Exclusives, which will air every night at 7PM, PEP.ph reports. But as her career flourishes, how's the state of her heart? Iza admitted she had broken up with non-showbiz boyfriend Atticus King last August, which was part of what made her emotional on her birthday celebration on Eat Bulaga.
At the press conference for Showbiz Exclusives on October 19, Iza told PEP.ph, "I'm trying to move forward. I think it's part of the process, but, you know, I'm trying other things." She even joked that she can now start dating because she's past the "three-month rule." Nevertheless, Iza said that she's not going to rush through the process of moving on.
The media also asked her how she felt about rumors saying Atticus decided to go sexy--he was one of the guys walking the ramp at this year's Cosmo Bachelor Bash--because of their breakup. "Buhay niya na po 'yon. Malaki na po siya at desisyon niya na po 'yon (It's his life. He's mature enough, and it's his decision)," Iza said. "We talked about that [Cosmo] after, but it's not as if we talk [regularly]."
