Gretchen Barretto chooses beauty over wealth: What’s important to you?

Beauty, wealth, or something else? Take the poll! By Stephanie Castillo

Gretchen_Barretto_article.jpgIn a recent interview with Kris Aquino on The Buzz, actress and endorser Gretchen Barretto revealed that beauty is more important to her than wealth, as reports. “Pag may ganda ka, magkakaroon ka ng yaman! Kasi ang kayamanan, hindi kaya bilhin ang kagandahan! You can try, but you can’t purchase kagandahan,” Gretchen told Kris, drawing cheers from the audience.

Do you agree with Gretchen that beauty is better than wealth? Or do you think that wealth is a more practical choice (and that it can, in fact, buy you beauty)? If none of the above, what do you prioritize?

Poll Question:
We want to know: whatâs most important to you?
  1. Wealth. You canât survive in this world without money. And with todayâs turbulent economy, having a lot of cash isnât just a luxuryâitâs a necessity.
  2. Beauty. Gretchen is rightâmoney canât buy kagandahan. Real beauty is all-natural and God-given, and no amount of expensive procedures will get you that inherent allure.
  3. Talent. Beauty will fade and riches can be squandered, but talent is never lost. Itâll get you places too, as long as you use it well!
  4. Career. Having a job you love gives you a sense of fulfillment and a reason to keep moving forward. Plus, a steady paycheck doesnât hurt. Itâs all about practicality!
  5. Love. We are all on a constant quest to find our soul mates (whether itâs a lover, a child, or an amazing friend)âand when we finally do, our lives become all the more meaningful.
  6. All of the above. You have to balance all these aspects to live a great life!
  7. None of the above. Thereâs something else thatâs a priority in my life right nowâIâm writing it down in the comments.

Gretchen sure used a lot of wealth to attain her "beauty." She now looks like a plastic doll. Sayang she used to be a natural beauty pa naman.

i beg to disagree. hindi assurance ang physical beauty sa pagkakaroon ng wealth. meron kaming helper, her face, maganda. pero bakas ng kahirapan ang mukha nya dahil salat sa pera for beauty enhancement and maintenance. although maganda face nya, may dark spots sha at di nya afford bumili ng products to fix her flaws.

ang dami rin namang mga celebs na di kagandahan pero they look stunning ang attractive becoz of money. malaking factor ang pera sa pagpapaganda at pagpapasexy. money, to a certain degree, CAN BUY beauty. kaya nga yumayaman si Belo e, ang dami kasi willing gumastos ng malaki para lang gumanda (and it works!)
