Radio host Grace Lee resigned from Magic 89.9’s show Good Times. In an interview with PEP.ph, the station’s manager, Andrew Santiago, confirmed that Grace resigned from the program, but not from the station. Grace’s resignation did not surprise Santiago because the Korean host had always been uncomfortable with the show’s theme. Santiago said, "Ever since, the content talaga of Good Times is very edgy, and we noticed that people really react to everything that Grace says [on air]. So the management has decided to design a more decent, safe kind of show for Grace."
Though well-known for her hosting, Grace Lee became a household name when she started dating President Noynoy Aquino. Santiago admitted that the radio show benefited from Grace’s fame. He said, "People became interested. They want to know more about Grace, e."
Santiago denied that Grace’s resignation had anything to do with her conflict with Angelika "Angelicopter" Schmeing-Cruz. "Definitely not,” Santiago said, “This has nothing to do with the Angelika issue.” He added, "Kung meron mang kinalaman, dapat noon pa siya nag-resign. (If that issue is related to this, then she would have resigned way before this.)"
