Gerald Anderson Says His Personal Life Is Focused on Sarah Geronimo

In an interview with ABS-CBNNews.com, actor Gerald Anderson revealed the real score between him and actress-singer Sarah Geronimo. "Ako po magsasabi sa inyo nang deretso--hindi po talaga kami (I'll tell you straight--we're really not together)," he is quoted as saying. "And as much as gusto ko sabihin 'yun--na kami--hindi. Kung maging friends lang kami o maging kami, either way I'm a very lucky guy. (As much as I want to say we're a couple--we're not. Whether we end up being friends or lovers, either way I'm a very lucky guy.) " Gerald confessed that he was courting Sarah in March.

Despite not being together yet, Gerald did say that when it comes to romance, his focus is definitely on Sarah. "Sa buhay ko, sa personal life ko, syempre nag-fo-focus lang ako kay Sarah. Ayokong sirain, gusto ko lang damdamin 'yung feeling. (In my life, in my personal life, of course my focus right now is Sarah. I don't want to ruin this. I just want to appreciate the feeling.)"

He added that he and Sarah are already past the "getting-to-know-you" stage, but that still didn't mean he was preventing her from seeing other people.

"Wala akong karapatan pigilan siya kung may gusto siyang i-date and vice versa (I don't have the right to prevent her from dating someone else and vice versa)," he said. "Sa ngayon, I'm single and Sarah is single, and we're just happy kung anong relationship namin ngayon as friends. But like I said before, no pressure. Si Sarah, marami pa siyang goals sa buhay niya; marami pa siyang gustong gawin. So para sa'kin, I'll try my best para suportahan siya. (Right now, we're both single, and we're happy with our relationship now as friends. But like I said before, no pressure. Sarah has a lot of goals in life; she has things she wants to do. So, for me, I'll try my best to support her.)"
