Gerald Anderson Not yet Ready to Talk about Sarah Geronimo

Actor Gerald Anderson has left the country to take a week-long vacation in Egypt with his family. According to a PEP.ph article, the actor went to the African nation to spend time with his family, especially with his dad, who is based there.

Gerald's departure comes just a few days after the news that he has stopped courting Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo broke out. PEP.ph had also tried to ask the actor about the failed romance, but he wasn't willing to talk about it yet.

"There’s always another time for that. Today's not the right time," he said. "Basta. Sasagutin ko lahat 'yan… Nakakahiya naman sa Star Magic, it's our day of celebration, kaya huwag muna, huwag muna (I'll answer all your questions … I don’t want to do this to Star Magic, it’s our day of celebration, so not now, not now.)."

Gerald's vacation was seemingly scheduled at a fortuitous time as it seems like he will be needing all the support he can get from his family. "Siyempre naman, lahat naman tayo dumadaan sa mga pagsubok sa buhay," he said. "At the end of the day, our family is most affected. Sobra silang suportado sa akin. Kumbaga, sa lahat ng ginagawa ko, lagi silang nandiyan para sa akin (Of course, we all go through challenges in life. At the end of the day, our family is most affected. Mine really supports me wholeheartedly. They always support me in everything I do.)."

Gerald is also planning on visiting Israel to strengthen his faith. "Lahat naman tayo kailangan no'n, e,” he said. “I mean, hindi naman araw-araw masaya tayo. Kailangan din natin si Papa God at ang pamilya natin (We all need it [faith]. I mean, we’re not happy everyday. We also need Papa God and our families.)."
