Rumors of actor Gerald Anderson and Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo being in a relationship have been circulating for the past few months, ever since Sarah admitted to receiving a Tiffany necklace from the actor for Christmas. Until recently, they both denied being anything other than good friends, but in an interview on The Buzz on March 11, Gerald finally confessed that he is courting Sarah, ABS-CBNNews.com reports.
The actor said he realized he had developed feelings for her on the last day of shooting for Won't Last a Day without You, their last movie together. "Nagulat ako kasi ang dami niyang in-open up sa akin; ang dami niyang shinare," he is quoted as saying. "Doon ko nakita na, 'Wow, she’s beautiful.' (I was surprised because she opened up about a lot of things with me; she shared a lot. That's when I realized, 'Wow, she's beautiful.')"
He shared she has the qualities he's looking for in his ideal wife and that he finds her authenticity beautiful. "Nag-open up siya for no reason. Hindi ko in-expect na gagawin niya 'yun, so nag-open up din ako sa kanya. (She opened up to me without a reason. I didn't expect that, so I opened up to her as well.)"
Gerald also said Sarah was his inspiration. "Gusto ko lang talaga magpasalamat sa kanya for the inspiration that she gives me and for making me happy every day. Nawawala 'yung stress ko dahil sa kanya. (I just really want to thank her for the inspiration she gives me and for making me happy every day. My stress goes away because of her.)"
