Angelica Panganiban’s reported relationship with John Lloyd Cruz is hot news again, thanks to a picture she posted on photo-sharing site Instagram of what seems to be a diamond ring on her left hand.
Angelica had captioned the photo “Shooting... Bagay pala ang long nails sakin. Pero d ko ma maintain! Masyadong pa gurl (Shooting... Long nails suit me. But I couldn’t maintain them! They're too girly.)” According to an article by ABS-CBNNews.com, most of her followers believed that the ring came from John Lloyd, especially since the actress reportedly received a Mercedes Benz from him recently.
“Engaged? If so, congrats!!” user Bugmei commented.
However, others gave Angelica the benefit of the doubt, saying that it must be part of her costume for the scene she was shooting.
“Kapag may singsing engaged agad? Di ba pedeng props lang para sa continuity (When she wears a ring, does it immediately mean that she’s engaged? Can’t it be a prop for [the scene’s] continuity?)?” user Paolovesme commented.
While a lot of people have been speculating that John Lloyd and Angelica are now an item, neither of the two have confirmed their alleged relationship. However, John Lloyd recently mentioned that he's waiting for a "better time" to clear the said rumors. “It deserves a better time… Ang sa akin lang, yung sa amin, gusto kong bigyan ng pagpapahalaga, na sa tingin ko, karapat-dapat para sa amin (It deserves a better time… For me, I want to give importance to what’s ours, something I think we deserve.).”
