With a slew of upcoming movies and an album to add to his hit TV series Gagambino, Dennis Trillo surely has his hands full this Christmas. On top of all the work lined up for him, Dennis is the new face of Sodaman. FemaleNetwork was able to catch up with Dennis at his launch as the clothing line's endorser, and he let us in on his plans for Christmas and early 2009.
What do you think of Sodaman and how do you feel about being chosen as their newest endorser?
I love that it's stylish and good for Filipinos who want to be fashionable without spending too much. Maganda ang quality, nakikisabay siya sa trend pero hindi kailangang maging expensive. I'm thankful for being chosen as their endorser.
How's Gagambino doing?
Isa pa 'yan sa mga bagay na proud ako. Hindi kasi namin in-expect na ganun kaganda 'yung response ng mga tao. Simula noong pinalabas sya, iba talaga, tapos nakakatuwa pa na nagiging idol siya ng mga bata.
What keeps you busy other than Gagambino?
May movies akong ginagawa pero next year pa ang labas. Magkakaroon din ako ng bagong album, still under Universal Rec12/ords. It'll have a different feel, mas acoustic na. It's going to be a mix of covers and original songs.
What are your plans for Christmas?
Same old tradition, we won't be leaving the country. Visit sa relatives on my mother's side then my father's.
What is your Christmas wish?
Sana magtuluy-tuloy pa ang magagandang projects. For my son Calyx, I wish he'll grow up na mabait at masunurin. Ayoko pa siyang i-expose sa media, he's still too young. I want him to have a normal childhood. Carlene and I will have to talk about that, parehong decision namin dapat 'yun.
